Clarendon Fine Art

Contemporary art and modern masters on New Row

About Clarendon Fine Art

Clarendon Fine Art runs an intimate gallery on New Row, the pedestrianised street of eateries and boutique shops between St Martin's Lane and Bedford Street, a few steps from the Covent Garden theatres. The space is set in an early nineteenth-century building and shows original works, limited editions and sculpture from contemporary artists and modern masters.

Clarendon is part of a group that runs galleries across the UK and further afield, styling each space to reflect its surroundings. The company was named Speciality Retailer of the Year at the 2026 UK Retail Awards, a mark of its scale in the contemporary art trade, and its art consultants offer private viewings and bespoke appointments, with a glass of bubbly on arrival. A guest list service brings invitations to previews, exhibitions and artist events through the year.

Art gallery on New Row, Covent Garden

Stock ranges across original paintings, limited edition prints, mixed media and sculpture, from abstract and figurative work to pop, street art, landscape and impressionism. Represented artists include The Connor Brothers, Doug Hyde, Fabian Perez and Dave White, and the gallery also carries rare signed editions and secondary-market pieces. Interest-free credit for UK clients, bespoke insurance and free delivery on online orders are designed to suit first-time buyers as much as seasoned collectors.

What to expect on a visit

The gallery opens from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, and entry is free. Leicester Square station is about three minutes away via St Martin's Lane, with Covent Garden station around five minutes on foot. It is one of the busier art galleries in Covent Garden, and Castle Fine Art on the same street is worth seeing on the same visit.
