About Eve Bar
Eve Bar is a cocktail, champagne and caviar bar on Southampton Street, opened in 2017 directly opposite the Savoy Hotel in the middle of London's Theatreland. It describes itself as a love letter to unapologetic indulgence and sets out to embody timeless British sophistication in a room that rewards a special occasion.
The bar is part of the Adam Handling Collection, the group of the chef behind Frog by Adam Handling, which occupies the same building, alongside the Adam Handling Chocolate Shop, The Loch & the Tyne, Ugly Butterfly and The Tartan Fox. Its menu is organised around what it calls the Three C's: caviar, champagne and cocktails, written for the table that orders another round because the night deserves it. Food is served from 1pm to 10pm, so it works for a light bite as well as a celebratory glass.

The room can be hired in full for up to 50 guests or semi-privately for up to 15, and the team will write bespoke food and drink menus for an event. Its position a minute from the Strand makes it a natural stop for pre-theatre cocktails before a show at the Lyceum, the Adelphi or the Savoy Theatre.
What to expect on a visit
Eve Bar opens from 1pm until late from Tuesday to Saturday and is closed on Sunday and Monday. Expect polished service and a considered list rather than a high-volume bar, and book ahead for weekend evenings. For tapas and cocktails a street away, see Condesa on Maiden Lane, or browse our guide to cocktail bars in Covent Garden.
