About Monica Vinader
Monica Vinader is a British jewellery brand with a boutique on King Street, just off the western side of the Covent Garden Piazza. The company, trading since 2005, is known for demi-fine and fine jewellery and in particular for its engravable pieces and Friendship bracelets, which can be personalised for the wearer, so the shop has a strong focus on jewellery bought to mark a person or an occasion.
The collections are made in gold vermeil, sterling silver, rose gold vermeil and 14k solid gold, often set with diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, pearls and gemstones. Named lines include Capri, Amaia, Nura, Odyssey and the MV Siren range, alongside a wedding shop, birthstone and zodiac jewellery and collaborations such as MV x Amy Powney. The brand emphasises responsible sourcing and lasting quality across everything it makes.
Engravable jewellery in Covent Garden
A key part of the offer is engraving and personalisation, which lets customers add initials, names or messages to many pieces and makes the jewellery well suited to gifts. The King Street boutique lets people see and try the gold vermeil and fine jewellery in person, arrange engraving and take advice from staff, so a personalised piece can be chosen and finished with guidance rather than ordered blind. The Covent Garden shop also offers piercing.
What to expect on a visit
The boutique opens every day, with later closing from Thursday to Saturday and shorter Sunday hours. Covent Garden and Leicester Square stations are both a few minutes' walk. Monica Vinader is one of several British designer jewellers within a short stroll of each other here, alongside Mejuri further along the same street; the full set is listed under Covent Garden jewellers.
