About OshPaz Dumplings
OshPaz Dumplings serves traditional Uzbek food from a permanent pitch in the Banana Warehouse section of Seven Dials Market on Earlham Street. It is one of the few places in central London cooking Central Asian food to order, and the hand-made manty dumplings are what the counter is known for.
The business was founded by Muzaffar Sadykov, who trained as a chef and noticed how little Central Asian cooking there was in London compared with the food he had grown up with. He first met KERB in 2018 at their Peckham market, talked his way into a pitch the following week, and went on to graduate from the inKERBator scheme for new traders. He remains founder and executive chef, and the group has since opened a further site on Regent Street.
Uzbek dumplings in Covent Garden
Manty are large steamed dumplings, wrapped by hand by Muzaffar and his team, and the Seven Dials menu has grown broader and brothier since the counter took its permanent spot in the Banana Warehouse. The kitchen publishes a full menu, a soft drinks list and an allergen guide on its own site, and takes reservations by email for the larger sites. OshPaz Uzbek dumplings anchor the menu, with soups and rice dishes from the same tradition alongside.
What to expect on a visit
Unlike most of the market, the counter keeps a consistent midday start every day of the week, closing at ten in the evening and an hour earlier on Sundays. Service is walk-up with shared seating. The full line-up is at Seven Dials Market, and there are further restaurants in Covent Garden a short walk away.
