Strand Palace is a large hotel on the Strand, facing the theatres and a few minutes on foot from the Covent Garden piazza and the Thames. Haxells Restaurant and Bar serves breakfast, pre-theatre dining and in-room dining, the Gin Palace and Cocktail Bar covers drinks, Café 1909 handles coffee, and the Palace Tea Parlour serves afternoon tea. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect — right in the centre, close to everything you could need. The place was absolutely spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early, which was a huge bonus! The staff are amazing — so friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I had a single room, which was small but perfectly suited to my needs — comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped. A special shout-out to the door staff, who were always smiling and couldn’t have been more helpful. Their warmth and positive energy really made a difference. I’ll definitely stay here again — highly recommend! 🏨✨
This is a great location! We were pleased to have air conditioned room. Our bed was very comfortable. The shower door closed completely which kept our things dry. The window had sliding doors which kept the room dark at night. Our room was quiet so we had a nice restful sleep. The doormen were friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable stay and would stay again.
Strand Palace is a solid, average hotel in a great location, making it easy to explore London on foot or by public transport. The bed was very comfortable and the gym was better than expected, with enough equipment for a decent workout. I didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. Overall, it does what it needs to do and provides a comfortable stay, but there’s nothing particularly memorable or standout about the experience.
