Ted's Grooming Room
Traditional Turkish barbering opposite Freemasons' Hall
About Ted's Grooming Room
Ted's Grooming Room is a Turkish barbershop on Great Queen Street, directly opposite Freemasons' Hall on the Holborn side of Covent Garden. The street sits between Drury Lane and Kingsway, and both Covent Garden and Holborn Underground stations are around five minutes' walk away.
Ted's is a London barbering group with shops across the West End, the City and east London, and the Great Queen Street branch leans on the street's history as the birthplace of the Football Association. The brand ties its look to the gentleman heroes of football's golden era, and the shop follows the traditional Turkish grooming rituals of hot towels, straight razors and ear flaming.

The full Turkish barber menu is on offer. Haircuts are priced at £45, skin fades at £50 and clipper cuts at £35, while the Full Ted Service at £70 bundles a haircut with a shave, ear flaming and a hot towel treatment. Beard work runs from a £35 beard service to a £55 cut-and-beard combination, and brow threading and hot wax are available alongside. Walk-ins are accepted, but booking ahead is recommended at busy times.

The shop is open seven days, from 9am to 8pm on weekdays with last entry at 7.30pm, 9am to 6.30pm on Saturday and 10am to 6.30pm on Sunday.
