Seven Sins Market at Seven Dials Market for Halloween 2026

19 October 2026By Marcus Ellery8 min read

Seven Dials Market on Earlham Street turns into Seven Sins Market from Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, a 10-day Halloween run in the converted Thomas Neal's Warehouse at Seven Dials, Covent Garden WC2H 9LX. The market's own event page, read on 19 October 2026, confirms the dates, a partnership with Meantime Brewing, 14 one-off dishes, a confessional booth, live performers and £5 Meantime pints.

Entry to the food hall itself is free and mostly walk-in. What costs money is the food, and nobody has published the prices of the 14 specials yet. The Upcoming, which reported the event on 18 October, named the dishes and the traders behind them, and set out an evening drinks offer and a late-night programme. Some of those details do not match the market's own pages, and the sections below say which. Our Seven Dials Market listing carries the address card and the map.

When Seven Sins Market runs and what it costs to get in

Seven Sins Market runs from Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 inside Seven Dials Market, Earlham Street, London WC2H 9LX. There is no entry charge for the food hall. Its opening hours page, read on 19 October 2026, lists 12pm to 10pm Monday and Tuesday, 11am to 11pm Wednesday to Saturday and 11am to 9pm on Sunday.

Seven Dials Market opening times on that page are the standing ones, and the Seven Sins Market page gives no different times for the Halloween run. On Sunday 1 November, the last day, the doors close at 9pm on that timetable. Most of the seating is indoors. Outside, the tables on Earlham Street are first come, first served, are not covered and close at 10pm, according to the market's FAQ page.

Walk-ins fill most tables. The homepage says the market now takes bookings for tables of 4 or more, while the accessibility page limits Bar Nana bookings to tables of 4 to 8 on Monday to Friday and Sunday. Groups of 10 or more are asked to pre-pay a bar tab as a deposit. The whole venue is cash-free, so a card or phone is needed at every counter.

According to The Upcoming, the 14 specials are grouped under the seven deadly sins. Under pride, Sukoshi serves tuna tartare in 3 pastry shells finished with yuzu. Greed is an Oh My Dog! hot dog with 2 smoked pork franks under candy bacon. Lust is a pumpkin soft serve from Chin Chin and Mello, topped with sweetcorn brûléed to order.

Envy carries 3 dishes: a Yum Bun melon soda float with a gummy eyeball, Oh My Dog! loaded fries and charcoal-black veggie wontons from HOKO. Gluttony carries 3 more, including a Stakehaus board with 600g of bavette steak and a baby pumpkin filled with fondue from Pick & Cheese, beside a pepperoni slice from Bad Boy Pizza Society. Sloth is a single plate of lamb pita crisps from Arnabeet.

What the reports say and what the market's own pages say

Three details do not line up across the coverage and the market's pages as they stood on 19 October 2026, and the market's own site contradicts itself once more. Anyone choosing a night needs the market's version.

First, the late-night programme. Dials After Dark, in The Upcoming's account, runs on 23 and 24 October and then 29 to 31 October. Its What's On page, by contrast, lists 4 nights only: Friday 23 October (Voices Radio with a Vanity Project DJ set), Saturday 24 October (The Bandini Experience), Friday 30 October (Voices Radio with a Slouchy DJ set) and Saturday 31 October (Voices Radio Live). Thursday 29 October has no event page.

Second, the start time.

On the homepage, Dials After Dark runs every Friday and Saturday from 7pm. Each event page says 7pm on the two Fridays and 8pm on the two Saturdays, and every one of them says "til late" without a time. Published closing on Friday and Saturday is 11pm, and nothing on the site says the Halloween nights run past it.

Third, the evening drinks offer. Seven Sins Market's own page confirms £5 pints from Meantime and nothing more. Details of a Redemption Hour from 7pm to 8pm each evening, and of a free pint for anyone 18 or over who stops a clock at exactly 10 seconds, come from The Upcoming alone. Meantime is reported to take over Bar Nana for the run, which normally pours Gipsy Hill beer, per the market's FAQ.

One contradiction sits on the market's own site, over Monday and Tuesday opening. Its FAQ page gives 11am, while the homepage and the opening hours page give 12pm. Our listing follows the opening hours page. Arriving at noon on a Monday covers both readings.

An evening at Seven Sins Market, in order

A Friday evening on the market's published timetable starts at Earlham Street, where 2 of the 5 entrances are step-free and a third is on Shorts Gardens. Bar Nana is on the ground floor beside Pick & Cheese, and the pink lift next to it goes down to Banana Warehouse, which holds 7 food traders and the main bar. The toilets are down there too, beside a quieter seating area.

From 7pm the reported Redemption Hour runs at Bar Nana until 8pm. On Fridays 23 and 30 October the Dials After Dark sets start at 7pm, and on Saturdays 24 and 31 October at 8pm. Traders are spread across the two halls, Banana Warehouse downstairs and Cucumber Alley, so ordering from 2 or 3 of the specials can mean the stairs or the lift.

Closing on Friday and Saturday is listed as 11pm. Outdoor tables have already shut at 10pm by then. Dogs are allowed in Cucumber Alley but not in Banana Warehouse, according to the FAQ, and service animals are allowed throughout.

Saturday 24 October carries one extra hour. Clocks go back at 2am on Sunday 25 October 2026, per GOV.UK, so the night after the second Dials After Dark set is an hour longer for anyone heading home late. Halloween itself, Saturday 31 October, falls on the final Dials After Dark night.

Seven Dials Market sits on the Earlham Street arm of the Seven Dials junction, a few doors from the shops on Monmouth Street and Neal Street. Our guide to Seven Dials shopping covers that quarter for anyone arriving in daylight.

Who Seven Sins Market suits and what to book

Seven Sins Market suits groups who want several small dishes from different traders under one roof, free to enter, with late music on Fridays and Saturdays. Anyone who needs a fixed table on a weekend night should book ahead, because the market is mainly walk-in and its outdoor seats close at 10pm.

Heat and size dominate the menu. Wrath carries 4 of the 14 specials, all built on chilli: a Masa Tacos black corn tortilla with adobo beef and habanero sauce, Lucky's Hot Chicken fries with jalapeños, an extra-hot Korean fried chicken bun from Yum Bun and a penne with 'nduja and chilli oil from Mezzo. Anyone who avoids spice has 10 dishes left, and several of those are built around meat or melted cheese.

Allergen information sits with each trader, the market says, and its shared storage and pot wash mean it cannot promise a fully allergen-free space. Not every trader serves halal meat, and the FAQ says to ask at the counter.

For a quieter meal, Monday to Thursday carry no late set, and both Sundays of the run, 25 October and 1 November, close at 9pm. Our page on pre-theatre dining in Covent Garden lists sit-down rooms for anyone with a curtain time to meet.
