Axel Arigato

Scandinavian sneakers in Seven Dials

About Axel Arigato

Axel Arigato is a Swedish footwear and fashion brand with a Covent Garden store on Earlham Street in Seven Dials. Founded in Gothenburg, the label is known for clean, minimal trainers in premium leathers, and the Earlham Street shop is one of two Axel Arigato stores in central London, the other being in Soho.

The brand pairs streetwear energy with Scandinavian design. Footwear sits at the core of the range, released alongside hoodies, T-shirts, knitwear and outerwear for men and women. Drops and collaborations keep the shelves moving, and the Covent Garden team can be reached by email, phone or WhatsApp for shopping at a distance, with orders delivered across the UK or held for collection at the store.

Axel Arigato's Seven Dials unit has the minimal, gallery-like interior the brand favours, with the trainers given room on plinths so the leathers and colourways can be judged properly. Current collections run across its shoe and ready-to-wear lines, and the sneakers and apparel appeal to shoppers after considered, contemporary pieces rather than loud branding.

What to expect on a visit

The store opens 11:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Wednesday, stays open until 20:00 from Thursday to Saturday, and runs 12:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. Earlham Street runs off the seven-way junction at Seven Dials, close to Neal Street, so it is simple to combine with the area's other fashion shops in Covent Garden. Carhartt WIP trades a few doors along the same street, and BIRKENSTOCK is around the corner on Neal Street for a different take on footwear.
