Carl Friedrik is a leather goods brand whose Covent Garden store opened on Floral Street in November 2025, its second London shop after the Regent Street flagship. The label is known for luggage, bags and accessories in full-grain leather, and the Floral Street store reflects a considered, craft-focused approach to travel and everyday carry.

Smaller and more intimate than Regent Street, the store shares the same design ethos. Warm timber shelving wraps the interior so each product has room to breathe, like artwork on a gallery wall. A bespoke vachetta leather display table nods to the material championed in the brand's longstanding Heritage collection, while exposed concrete floors, brushed aluminium detailing and mid-century lounge furniture soften the space and invite customers to pause.

Leather luggage in Covent Garden

Floral Street stocks a curated selection of leather luggage, holdalls, briefcases, backpacks and small leather goods, and anything not on the shelf can be ordered from the full collection for home delivery. As at Regent Street there are no tills: store staff take orders on handheld devices while guiding customers through the range, which keeps the focus on advice rather than the transaction. The bags and accessories blend classic and contemporary design.

Opening hours are 10:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Saturday and 12:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. Floral Street is a narrow pedestrian lane parallel to Long Acre, a short walk from the Covent Garden Piazza, and it is lined with designer and independent boutiques. Carl Friedrik sits among the fashion and accessories shops in Covent Garden, with Balibaris on the same street for menswear and Away in Seven Dials for hard-shell suitcases.
