Icetank

Icetank is a blank-canvas events venue and studio on Grape Street, a quiet turning just off Shaftesbury Avenue in Covent Garden. The light, open-plan white space spreads across two floors and can be hired seven days a week from 6am to midnight, with exclusive use of both the ground and lower ground floors included in a booking.

The venue covers 171 square metres over two levels. The ground floor holds a demo kitchen under a skylight, an infinity cove, a DJ mezzanine and a fireplace, with street-level access through bi-folding doors. The lower ground floor contains a catering kitchen, workshop areas and a facilities room. Capacity runs to 120 standing, with seated and boardroom configurations from 15 to 80 depending on the layout.

Listed uses include press and product launches, conferences, private dining, fashion shows, pop-up shops and restaurants, film and TV productions, gallery exhibitions, cooking demonstrations, receptions and parties. The infinity cove and the white interior make it a practical choice for photography and filming, while the two working kitchens support catered occasions. The studio is fitted with high-speed wifi, an 82-inch 4K LED TV, two HD projectors, PA and AV systems, uplighters in any colour, air conditioning and acoustic glass with blackout electric blinds, and a technician, videography and photography can be added.

What to expect on a visit

Icetank partners with event decorators, caterers, bar services and design specialists, so a client can either keep the white interior as it is or brief a full transformation. Tottenham Court Road, Covent Garden and Holborn stations are all a few minutes away.
